Empty Spaces

We had to do the Christmas shopping today as my mother-in-law (also staying at a nursing home) wished us to provide her with sufficient food for the holidays and she has no possibilities to do her own shopping. Based on earlier years' experience, we woke up at 5 am. and drove to mall. As the blip shows,  the parking garage was practically empty (some vehicles in the other parts of the huge garage, mostly of employees). All in all the very early morning shopping was a pleasant experience, again.

In the afternoon, my sister called me from beside my mum's bed. She looked perhaps even more tired than yesterday, and talking was even more difficult. We will drive to her tomorrow.
