Hard overnight frost....

was followed by a bright, sunny day. Walking the sand hills (moraines) here, one side still had frost lying and the other had thawed and was colourful. At this time of year, the sun just comes above the hills for a short time. However, it was lovely to see it, when it is just shortest day +1.
The Raven flew over calling and the rabbits scuttered down holes that undermine the land. The woods were full of squirrel activity again.
