Willows

I've always liked the look of these willows along the Avon in Paige's Meadow at Charlecote Park.  Quite grey and wintery today but there were still plenty of people out for an exercise walk.  Enough for the trust to have the coffee kiosk open in the tea garden.

Our last pre Christmas shopping trip this morning was a success - Waitrose in Stratford at 08:20 was quite civilised with no sign of panic buying that I could see,  and no aimless dawdling either.  As I arrived back at the car with our trolley a chap in a Porsche Cayenne stopped to let me walk by and then left the space next to our car empty so I could get to the back door.   Good to see that reasonable/calm/thoughtful behaviour is indeed alive and well :-)
