Climbing the pole!

Right on schedule the Openreach engineer arrived at one o'clock and not long after he started he realised that it was going to be a two man job so a second van arrived.

The two guys were here for just short of four hours when it just became too dark. Two of the three problems have been sorted .... the third is underground between two telegraph poles and someone who is UG (underground) trained will come on Thursday morning to continue the repair. 

Meanwhile I have had a new temporary socket fitted in the spare bedroom which will remain until the repair is complete.

Not a festive blip .... the comings and goings have filled my afternoon!
