Welcome surprise

Golden morning sun shining on the amaryllis bud which is just starting to open. Maybe we'll have a flower for Christmas day.

Up earlier than usual and feeling it now. Then a beautiful walk to pick up H from her last day of school in 2020 just before lunch. Less than half her classmates were there this week as many parents decided to keep their kids at home. Think it made for a (slightly) less crazy last couple of days.
