The day after solstice

Had hoped for a solstice adventure run but it was grim yesterday. Today was lush.

Good mix of track and off piste. Frozen and bog, with a nice river crossing to wash off the bog. Some proper nav and some forest point that way and hope nav. Excellent sightings of the red deer herd. Far enough to feel far but not so far your hating every step.

Always nice when something you think will be good based on the map and vague memories turns out good. 
Think this will become a new back garden favourite.
