Christmas lunchtime

Today I took Christmas gifts to my young ones, this is normally a day we go for lunch somewhere but that's was not to be this year. Instead I took a picnic so that we could be together apart. I'd thought of going to the park close to where my daughter is staying at the moment but my son suggested the farmland public space on the edge of town, it was a great suggestion. We sat around the Christmas tree (pictured)on camping chairs, ate the food I'd prepared and had a mug of mulled wine, it was perfect.
