Breda -- Wilhelminastraat corner Wilhelminasingel

This was built in 1889; you can actually see the date! What I like about that date is the fact that it was painted onto the building in the handwriting style that you can also find when you go through archive material from the period.

If you ever get a chance to look at the architecture in the area, you'll come to the conclusion that most of the buildings were built late in the 19th century. There were not many before that time, while many of those that were already there were eventually torn down, and townhouses like this one took their place.

Again a very cold day. We're beginning to wonder how long this is going to last, weather predictions notwithstanding.
