That is the amount of time I did in the Royal Air Force. For all that time, I received a monthly payslip, wherever I was in the world. I had moved base 10 times, moved house 7 times and been out of area 4 times. When I was an airman they were delivered to work. When I became an Officer, they could then be delivered to my home address (until that changed and all ranks had them sent to their place of work). The "collection" has had to go as they are just taking up space, but it was interesting going through them and finding out that I was paying more in tax by the end that I was earning when I started.
