Encore!

Despite below-freezing temperatures and snow (the white blobs in the background), our indefatigable "Hot Lips" salvia had not only a fine new blossom, but more buds today! 

Maybe we should devote more of our garden space next year to this intrepid plant! 

The title I gave my December 11 blip --  "Finale" -- was premature...
