Still Life With Blackbird

(with apologies to anyone who finds images of deceased animals upsetting)

This photo is upside down; we saw this poor deceased blackbird in a hedge while walking the dog, and it was such a striking image of rural life that I took this photo. It looked so well-preserved I can only imagine it just popped its clogs mid-flight and fell straight out of the air :-(
