National Museum of Scotland

As mentioned a few days ago; we did indeed walk into town earlier this afternoon, in order to visit the National Museum of Scotland - it closes from the end of tomorrow obviously, and not at all certain when any such facilities will be able to re-open again? Anyhow - we all thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Museum, which really was looking as magnificent as ever :-)

The City Centre, generally, was *extremely* quiet for this time of year ...

... we're off in the opposite direction tomorrow morning - to The Pentlands - for a short pre-Christmas hillwalk!
