New carpet

Feel like like a proper grown up - my first ever new carpet.
Two lovely carpet fitters came to my rescue - thanks to the intervention of a colleague - and fitted the new stair carpet.

It looks great, has the new carpet smell and you need to take your shoes off to walk on it.

Apologies to the neighbours through the wall for the early awakening due to the amount of hammering going on this morning.

Just away to look at it again and run up and down the stairs to enjoy the spongy underlay!
