Rebels with a cause
These two little monkeys came to visit today which, for me, was a much needed tonic!
I’ve not seen them in the flesh since August and unlike previous years, we won’t be able to see them on Christmas Day.
There’s every possibility that we will be put into Tier 4 on Boxing Day, so I wasn’t about to miss the only opportunity I might have to get a few hugs in before we aren’t allowed to see anyone again.
I should have known though that I wouldn’t get a look in with Uncle Mash around; they absolutely adore him (I don’t blame them) as he’s just as big a kid as they are.
They chased each other all over the house and it’s the best sound in the world hearing the squeals of delight and laughter.
Theia told me all about her boyfriend, Lucas (both aged 5 and a half!) and that he kissed her at school which isn’t allowed. She fell over a few days ago and grazed her knee, but Lucas brought her a flower which instantly made everything better. So cute!
Theo is sweet on a girl called Isobel, so we had a chorus of ‘Theo and Isobel, sitting in a tree, qrsnnig’ (they can’t spell kissing yet!!)
After all the exertion (I was tired just watching them!), it was time for them to go home, so I made sure there were lots of hugs and kisses and that they knew how much Aunty Gant loves them, even though she can’t see them as often as she would like. :-(
