like the pipes and drums
Had to go into work today to learn how to make some tooling which was a pain. J was out walking the dog at the beach when I got back so I walked down to the Christmas tree place and met them there. Picked out a nice tree and managed to get back in time for the street Christmas party. With Covid this year we have had a street WhatsApp group. As a result someone has organised a street walk around. At least half the street joined in decorating the houses and quite a few put on some food or drink at their doorstep while we wondered around. The evening started with some bagpipes and a drum. There was also a harp played by one of the daughters from next door. IT was a good night and we met even more people from the street we didn’t know from the dog walks. My mince pies seemed to go down well as well.
