Mud and stuff
Spotted in our churchyard! So good to see these little bits of cheerfulness dotted around the village.
I spent the morning at the allotment digging and muck spreading. It was dry mostly and the sun even appeared for half an hour or so - which felt magical. I achieved my goal which was to finish digging the brambles out of two beds and cover one with cardboard and horse manure. It felt a good achievement as it was hard going and very muddy. It look me quite some time to wash everything down when I returned home.
Afterwards I rested and caught up on the latest news re Brexit, the Dover crossing and Coronavirus...happy days! Well at least there is some positive movement with the first two. We are now just back from a wet dog walk and preparing dinner (chicken and rice).
Sending you smiles and warmth.
For the record: Our area, along with much of the south and east of England move into Tier 4 on Boxing Day. Inevitable I suspect given the wider situation and in some ways more practical for us as Tier 4 is currently only 100 yards down the road. A South African strain of C-19 is now identified as being in the UK.
