The church in Pinvellir National Park

The weather improved (slightly) today, it didn't rain! We could actually see and decided to venture back into the Pingvellir National Park. The scenery was varied and dramatic.

I liked the light , so here is today's blip. Our Northern Lights trip this evening has been cancelled and tomorrow we fly to the Westman Islands, the site of a huge volcanic eruption which buried houses in the '70's (I think), and is the world's largest Puffin colony. If they have any sense, they will be in their burrows, I hope not if they are there!
