LD 275. The way to my workplace

It may be late afternoon on the last sitting day before Christmas ( though if there is a U.K./EU Brexit low deal we will have to come back next week to consider the Scottish Parliament’s reaction to it) but many MSPs are still at work.

Yesterday we passed by a majority of 90 to 27 the second attempt at an EU Continuity Bill which allows Scotland to choose a degree of regulatory alignment with Europe ( the first Bill was undermined by the U.K. deliberately changing the law after we had passed it) and today after I had given an update on Brexit preparations we passed an expedited bill with some necessary electoral law changes to allow a Covid compliant Holyrood election next May.

This is the corridor up which many of us walk to take part in proceedings. Shorn of people it is very striking.
