Wildlife Central

I had a couple of hours with an old friend, walking through thick glorious mud and pretty constant rain. When we arrived at this pond, there was a plethora of wild birds, including a couple of black cormorants fishing. Huge koi carp lazily meandered just below surface.

But ... under that tree, and I didn’t want to get closer, was a playful, busy, large family of ... RATS.

Ugh.
