Fancying-up
Christmas Eve YAY!!
The day has been spent in achieving readiness for tomorrow; fetching foodstuffs, and making the house presentable. The latter included fancying-up the dining table.

Tak bae 135/2.5 @ f/5.6, which is a place I'm pretty happy to sit this lens.
Earlier in the day I took the camera and tripod to the (overgrown) lawn, found a dandelion, and took a series of photos:
Dandelion at f/2.5 by -Occasionally Focused-
Dandelion at f/2.8 (I think) by -Occasionally Focused-
Dandelion at f/4 by -Occasionally Focused-
Dandelion at f/5.6 by -Occasionally Focused-
Dandelion at f/8 by -Occasionally Focused-
Dandelion at f/11 by -Occasionally Focused-
Dandelion at f/16 by -Occasionally Focused-
(f/22 had a shutter speed too slow for the little wind we had, and/or I just caught a mini-gust; it was quite a blur.)
Interestingly, the in-focus sharpness doesn't lack much even wide-open (though there's much less in-focus). As far as sharpness goes I don't think there's that much gain to write home about after f/5.6; it's really about depth of focus, and the bokeh.
