China Doll

I actually took this blip last night.  The weather has been dull and rainy until this evening so this has to be it.  My mother, who was born in 1906,  bought this doll for sixpence when she was a little girl.  At some stage she dressed her as a fairy for the Christmas tree and the doll features in my earliest memories.   She actually left me some material to make her a new outfit when this one became discoloured - no chance!
