Thoughtful

My colleague and friend left this and some other gifts on my step a few weeks back to cheer me up.

He has been checking in on me regularly as I've had a bit of a bad time lately.  I had hoped to reciprocate or even have an outside meet with him this week as it was his birthday but we found ourselves in different Covid Tiers and unable to cross County lines except for a given list of purposes.

Today we learned that we will be in the same Tier from Boxing day.

It has made me reflect on how this  freedom of movement is something that I take for granted at least. I am grateful for that.
