Horrid weather today . . . wet, cold and breezy.

Had two trips to the local shops for food. I drove the first time and walked later when the rain had eased but by that time the wind had strengthened. 

I tried to catch people with shopping bags but they were too quick for me (or the phone camera). This chair outside Daisy’s with fairy lights on the plants proved a more suitable subject. 

Happy to give supermarket queues, click and collect or home delivery a miss this Christmas. I‘ve been able to see the full range of goods available in our small shops, check freshness and dates and buy some treats that I would never have spotted with online shopping.
