Christmas Eve.

Went to the supermarket at 7am to get some prawns, and a few other bits and pieces.

I had another look at the fruit and veggie prices.  And they're not as bad as I thought.  It's just the price of apples that seems to have shot up.

Anyway, I couldn't get any nice flowers in the first supermarket.  So, I thought I'd got to Aldi.  But I had to wait an hour as they didn't open until 8.30.

I had some breakfast and a cup of tea.  And then went to Aldi.  Lined up, walked, quick look at the flowers and walked out again.  Theirs were bad as well.

Over the road to another supermarket.  Found some flowers, and a tin of Quality Street, reduced.

Have spent the rest of the day at home.

I made an apple and mincemeat flan.  I was going to make a cake, but decided it wouldn't get eaten.

I'm now waiting for Alexandra to come and pick up the girl's Christmas presents.  I wrap them and keep them here, so prying fingers can't get into them.
