Wet day before the eve of Christmas
You can probably tell from my face and the way I’m standing I’m not really loving this wet weather, even Darren as noticed I’m not being as enthusiastic as I normally am when he asks if I want to go for walk.
I long for those dry days of spring and summer where I can run and roll in the grass without getting filthy.
As I’ve mentioned before it will be just me and Darren this Christmas, I’m not sure Darren as given it much thought, but he does watch the news a lot and he’s now wondering if he needs a support bubble as that is what people who are alone are supposed to have. I do wonder if watching the news can make you feel more lonely than you actually are. Fortunately for Darren he realises while he will be alone on Christmas Day, it’s not the end of the world and In reality it won’t be very much different than being alone today, or yesterday or 2 weeks tomorrow or the past weeks while recovering from COVID.
