'Twas the night before Christmas

It was very pleasant wandering around the local streets in the cool summer night air, looking at all the local creativity around Christmas lights. There was everything - lots of colour, lots of movement (in terms of flashing lights), and a whole heap of ICM. In the end I settled on this one: simple white lights, flashing, but you could see they were on a home which even has a tree decorated with lights in the garden.

And home is what Christmas is about, especially this year. We will have to Christmas lunch all the extended family other than those in lockdown in the northern beaches. We can do this within the ten guest limit. It'll be nice.
