As Luna is my avatar and my journal is named for her I thought it only fitting that she wished you all a Happy Christmas and that comes from me also. . 
More rain overnight and during the day and the river has risen several feet and is now in my garden.   Everything that was at the top of the bank is standing in water, thankfully Steven moved the benches to a safer place last weekend. 
I'm having to take Luna out for her toilleting on her lead , as she hasn't seen the water so high and seems fascinated by the lights from the nearby Pumping Station reflecting in it, something we don't see at it's normal level. The current is very strong at present and she wouldn't stand a chance if she slipped in.
