Deep and Wide

Christmas Eve, we collected the final bits of food and delivered presents to local family (socially distanced). After lunch I (Chris) went and met Immy for a walk. The rain has flooded Eythrope (again) and like yesterday's walk with Rosie, wellies were essential. However there was no rain and periods of blue sky. 

This evening we've iced Annie's homemade Christmas cake. It was a bit stressful but fun (see extra). 

Thinking of everyone who is spending tomorrow in a way they weren't expecting originally. Time to concentrate on all the good things we have in our lives. Hope all stay safe and well.
