Ginger and Walnut Cake

A morning of baking: this ginger and walnut cake (Nigella Lawson recipe) and Jamie Oliver's special Christmas crumble. Then Bb and I tackled the housework with our upstairs downstairs double act routine. A short afternoon walk and then a walk at night after we'd finished everything. The curfew didn't start until later tonight with a special concession for those days. There were few people out though as nothing was open.

Put a few little Christmas decorations out and Christmas carol playlist on the go. Starting to feel Christmassy! Our little Christmas tree is in Rio - we left it there last year thinking we'd be there again this year!
