Xmas Eve "hotpot"

It was so eventful today that our PhD friend couple told us that their flight back to China was cancelled due to strict lockdown solution. So they were desperately looking for temporary accommodation for the following uncertain period of residence which is so hard to find at this time of the year. So I helped contact people via my networking. Fortunately they finally made it. 

Also met other friends for gifts exchange and went shopping before stores were closed.Too busy to prepare any big meal, just a convenient hotpot to treat ourselves. 

At least my friend couple can have a peaceful Christmas Eve now.
