Today my children have been introduced to the Wizard of Oz. I booked up to watch the local amateur dramatics production of the musical a while back, and today was the day it was on. It was touch and go until the last minute, which of the Pinks were well enough to watch it, in the end I stayed at home and Grandma went in my place. Apparently it was really good; master Pink enjoyed it especially.
At bedtime we enjoyed the picture book version of the story - although I was a little befuddled as Dorothy wore silver slippers in this version and not ruby ones. Just remember Toto..... There's no place like home.....
