Bit late for Movember

Headed over to Glasgow today to look at the House for Art Lovers, the Mackintosh place... After an hour and a half of driving we got there only to discover that it was closed because of a wedding...
it's very busy with weddings at this time of year...
of course February, such a well known wedding season???
So instead we thought we'd get a bit of tea and cake and then head elsewhere...

So with a dejected air we headed over to Pollock House and the Burrell Collection. We had to book to get a cup of tea there as well??? clearly there's an untapped market for teashops over in Glasgow.

However the day progressively got better. A nice wander, a scone, a chat with the shire horses (although he did sneeze over me at one point), finally a bit of a gander at some art ...

Then this evening I've scoffed a curry, lovely : )
