Christmas Day begins

The best Christmas Day sunrise we have had for ages.

We sang some carols to Mum and Dad, who we’ve not seen since February. Exchanged presents. WhatsApp’d family. Been out on a short trip. Had a simple lunch. Listened to the Queen. And prep’d for our Christmas dinner this evening, lamb shanks now cooking slowly in the oven.
