Christmas Day Dug

 
 
 Virtual greetings with #2 son and socially distanced exchanging of presents and a pre lunch walk with #1 son (now vaccinated) L, E, S and dogs. Gifts included a map of Iceland and a selection of coffees from around the world. Harrumph. My favourite is a papier-mâché sculpture of Islay from S, it’s a bit big for our tree so I stood her on an wine bottle, I think I can probably remove the wand when the twelve days of Christmas are over. The angel wings can stay. That’s the extra.
 The best bit of the day was the revelation that the bump is a little girl. I think they were joking about naming her Yosemite. Their favourite name is already taken by the dog; they should have thought of that.
Late lunch à deux, roast beef and an extensive range of vegetables, followed by Nougat. Jolly nice Merlot too.
