Never too old for opening stockings in our bed!!
We had a lovely day, although missed everyone dearly. Lots of video calls helped though. Doug and his apprentice, Joe, did a grand job of cooking Christmas dinner- with a little advice from Grandpa. It looked amazing, and I was definitely able to taste bits - particularly the sprouts! I’ve felt much better today, thankfully.
Best presents of the day? Joe’s turkey hat (worn pretty much all day) and Heidi’s hairdressing mannequin, Sandra. The girls both liked their dolphin earrings, and Chloe was delighted with her blister plasters!!! Oh, and the waffle maker went down well too, as did Joe’s escape room style puzzle book. I was treated to a lush, leather tool belt, plus dvd box sets and a new Casio watch. We were all very spoiled! Merry Christmas!!!
