Gin-gle all the way

Merry Christmas? It will be for us as we ended up with FIVE bottles of gin!!

I can’t drink at the moment due to my meds, so I hope there might be some left by the time I can!

This one in particular is a very fancy rhubarb gin, with gold flakes and a light up bottom which turns the bottle into a snow globe of sorts.

It’s been a good day, with chance to see various family members throughout the day, which we are thankful for; especially when so many are having to spend the day alone.

Although we didn’t get to see the kids, Mum sent me a video of them opening their presents. Theia apparently woke my sister at 3.30am with shouts of ‘He’s been!!! He’s eaten the custard creams and Rudolph ate the carrot’. She was promptly told to go back to bed!

Mr A did a fantastic job of Christmas dinner, although we forgot to defrost the pigs in blankets so they were substituted for Yorkshire puddings.

It’s certainly been a very different Christmas Day, but in a blink, it’s all done for another year ;-)
