The Covid Christmas...

So we, as a family, decided early on to celebrate christmas in our separate homes so the wee recent changes didn't affect us as much but the trick was how to be together apart.

So it was a heavy reliance on zoom but it was brill nonetheless. We had a wonderful chaotic full family present opening, a kids charades and this final family games night.  Catching up with family in London, Alloa, Glasgow, Ayr and Greece.

Family board games usually figure in our Christmas day. Doing this over zoom would be interesting and although Trivial Pursuit would have been the easy choice, we went with Cranium. With a wee bit of pre work (getting tubs of playdough to remote players) and heavy use of WhatsApp, it worked extremely well.
