Birthday Cake

As H was out with the Brownies and Guides last night, I'd left her birthday cake and candles until today so we were all together. The recipe said chocolate layer cake, so I thought it would be perfect, she wanted buttercream in the middle, and chocolate ganache on top. I think the recipe needed double the quantity, there's no way it could be sliced into 4 layers, I just about managed 2. It's saved our waistlines though.
