we spent the day getting the house all tidy and festive - I love the smell of the christmas candles and setting the christmas table with the crystal down from the loft. I made beth’s maple loaf and we had visits from pat from the sewing shop with lovely flowers for me, the leggat’s and louis and christmas eve! beth arrived with wee bug and we swapped presents with jenson before he headed off to kintore. I made a trifle and we watched die hard then polar express. poor beth wasn’t well with what I think might be food poisoning from the mcd’s she had earlier in the day...poor thing! she didn’t even make it for the annual night before christmas reading with bee :(
