Christmas Present

A gift from my Irish Blipper friend in Dublin, Annieone.
This medal is from the shrine to Our Lady of Knock (in Knock).
It memorializes the appearance of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Peopke go there to pray for their special needs.
There are better known places where Mary is said to have appeared, like the Our Lady of Lourdes in France and Fatima, Mexico City and elsewhere.
