RIP The Dark Side

Irreverant I know, but Darth Vader was my instant thought on seeing this gravestone at St Dennis Church at Fiskerton-cum- Moreton on todays dog walk. Quite germanic looking too.

Very pleasant bumping into and chatting with 3 sets of friends, on this newish weekly route area for us near the River Trent.  

We did a few The Guardian Quick crosswords on the tele last night as a family. Cheat word is a useful function. Followed on watching an old "Morecombe & Wise" xmas special and 30 years of "Have I got News for You", a documentary with some excellent clips of the unique genre defining topical and ad lib comedy series. I'd forgotten Boris Johnson featured as presenter and guest many years ago, buffon like as usual - and we still elected him PM!
