What a difference a century makes
Two chocolate boxes. The main photograph was one of Mrs T's presents this Christmas.
The 'extra" box on the right has a bit more age to it and once contained chocolates made by Rowntree of York. It is made of tinplate painted with a scene of Japanese ladies standing and sitting under a cherry tree in an oriental garden. The tin belonged to my grandmother and dates from the 1920s. Nothing gets thrown away at Castle Talpa!
