Free Gift

It was very nice to receive this in the post today.

Most of the recipe cards involve coffee pods that I don't have, but it was still nice to receive these (and 10 free pods) for being a valued customer.

I used it as a lesson to eldest about loss leaders and sales tactics. We decided we liked the sound of some that we can actually make with pods we already have.

Oh and (not so) little one spent most of the morning throwing up. Not even as a result of over indulgence. He seems fine now.

I made bubble and squeak tonight. A tribute to my mum in law who passed away this week. We always had that at her house on boxing day. One year we made it on the living room open fire during a power cut.
