the boys at home for Christmas

Posting blip on Boxing Day.
As is tradition the boys arrived early (before combing their hair) and we opened our presents together. They still like their presents in the sack we Santa used when they were little. Not sure they will ever grow up. Christmas is usually a big affair with my brother and his family but of course this year is different and we were lucky to share it with our boys who both live not too far away. Liz and Lotty went to their parents. Slightly less raucous than usual we had a good time, eating more than ever and playing games. The most popular game this year was Pictionary Air, a digital version of the old classic.
No photos taken today 26th, Nick and I played golf together in the 9 holiday Boozy Driver comp. I shot 6 under par which I am hoping is good enough to win :-)). Lesley joined up with Dan and Lotty family for a walk over very muddy fields. Lesley had prepared the boys a buffet box each for them to take home so they didn't miss out on their Boxing Day buffet. Now our food mountain is more manageable for the 2 of us !
