Little bookworm

I had been feeling guilty all week that I hadn't had any time with my gorgeous girl over half term week. Hubby was back at work so we decided on a girly day today - but that didn't involve pampering or films. Instead we had a lazy start and then a visit to Wakefield One where the new library is based.

It has been far too long since we went to the library but now Lottie is reading 'proper' books rather than her picture books we are running short on supplies so off we went. It's cool, a real improvement on the old one. Wish I could have fitted into the little reading pod! Anyway Lottie enjoyed it, came away with 6 books while I borrowed a couple of photography books which I may or may not get time to read.

This afternoon she did a bit of cross stitch, and then we had a catch up with an old school friend and my god daughter.

I know Lottie was my model yesterday aswell, and I did take some other pictures today of some of Wakefield's architecture, but blip is supposed to be a journal of my life so this sums it up.
