A walk by the River Lee

We have been warned that "Bella" is to visit us so made sure we went out for walk along the river Lee yesterday. We visited Enfield Wash, an area we have not been to for quite a few years. The river runs through a mostly industrial area at this point with not so many people about churning up the mud which has been a feature of walks in the last few weeks.
Sure enough, Bella has arrived, a huge storm system with winds of over 80 miles an hour although in sheltered London we had forecasted winds of 49. The rain is pounding against the windows, l am snuggling down in bed.
