A Guest For Breakfast
I picked my breakfast red and black currants into a strawberry punnet lined with a tissue. As I transferred them to a strainer for washing a tiny ball rolled out. When I peered at it, wondering what it was it suddenly sprouted legs! The tiniest flower spider I have ever seen, about 3mm long. See how small it is among the currants.
Today was wetter and colder than before. The outdoor temperature was less than 10ºC all day. The clouds covering the mountains lifted slightly and revealed a good fall of snow. See extra shot. I have lit the fire, summer or not.
