Spike

At least, I think this one was Spike. A visit to Birdland in Bourton-on-the-Water turned out to be highly successful. Daughter No.1 was absolutely entranced by the King Penguins. I haven't seen her giggle and dance about with such enthusiasm for ANY reason for ages! She just loves penguins!
This little guy was apparently the boss. There was another one with an eye missing, courtesy of a South African fishing boat, and then, somewhat incredibly, the one with the (Norwegian) Knighthood - Sir Nils Olaf Penguin. Apparently he used to supervise the Changing of the Guard in Norway till he retired - I kid you not!
