Craft day

I met up with my textile group today to have a workshop on making a fabric book. I thought it sounded a bit naff to start with but actually it was really inspiring. One of the group had been to a workshop by Frances Pickering and she took us through how the books were made, kindly supplying some materials for us to use as well. Lots of ideas are blossoming, although when I'll get the time to do any more, we'll have to see.

And I've now just come back from an evening watching Matthew Bourne's new ballet, Sleeping Beauty. I was really lucky to get a ticket (I got the very last one when I booked on Tuesday) and it was so worth it - it was amazing! If you ever get the chance to go - go!
