Greening

The lovely fields that a few farmers quickly seeded with flowers as a "greening" fertiliser crop after the cereal harvest have done very well this year thanks to the lack of hard frosts. Very uplifting. Just wish this was encouraged more or even made mandatory. A bare harvested/ploughed field can't take up any CO². In addition, a field like this is full of bugs & worms improving the soil structure and all for free.
